Shiva sutra some aphorisms

 

1. चैतन्यमात्मा caitanyam ātmā:  Consciousness is the Self.

‘Consciousness’ means the activity of awareness. 

2. अज्ञानं बन्धः (a)jñānaṃ bandhaḥ: 

Ignorance is bondage. / Knowledge is bondage. (Bookish )
